1/144 - Celebration of Life.

The original Burning Man organised by DJ Jupiter.

The biggest pilgrimage and spiritual gathering on the planet where hundreds of millions gather to be blessed and relieved from their karma.

At the crossing of 3 rivers : Ganges, Yamuna and Saraswati symbolising Shushumna Ida and Pingala nadis in the human body, people gather in 6/12/144 year cycles to receive the blessing of the sages that descend from Himalayas covered in sacred ash.

Aghori tribes that study solar science secluded in caves of the Himalayas, learning how to work with matter and extremely high spiritual forces are invited together with other wise men from various yoga traditions to take the bath first in order to share their blessings with the water so all people taking daily dips can benefit from the grace that descends on everyone who is there.

People from all over the world travel to witness and live this experience of tradition science and faith blended together with Fire and Water.

Lectures by Masters, rituals and yoga and meditation practices, chanting, pujas and satsangs are happening everywhere and many people wait their whole life to have an opportunity to go there as pilgrims and pray. It’s colourful loud and very spiritual - India’s biggest treasure that gets measured by NASA every time it happens.

This rare event influences directly the consciousness of the planet and helps her in ongoing transition towards higher dimensions. The frequency and love can be felt from a distance : all are welcome to join and learn, dance, cry pray and set intentions.

Ascended Masters manifest their light bodies during this event and visit disciples that normally are not able to reach the Himalayan tops where they reside.

Spiritual truth is whispered through the eyes of initiated ones. Wise men : sadhus, who’s main objective in life is Sadhana ( spiritual discipline ) descend in order to bath themselves and often this occasion is the only one in their life when they come down to visit civilisation.

  • This year the celebration is Maha Kumbh - the one in 144 years. Many Kriya teachers will be present, giving Satsang in their camps. In between them Mohanji who’s 60th birthday celebration will be held during the Kumbh and Sri M who will be lecturing about Vasistha from 16th of February onwards. The Kumbh is culminated on the 27th of February with Maha Shivaratri - the most famous celebration in worship of Lord Shiva - one of the most important deities in Hindu pantheon - the original Adi Yogi - being who gifted yoga to humanity by sharing it with Sapta Rishis.

The Kumbh Mela is mentioned in almost all books about Kriya Yoga that I read, mainly in The Holy Science by Sri Yukteswar Giri and in The Autobiography of a Yogi by Paramahansa Yogananda. On both occasions it gives statement about the appearance of The Great Preceptor and the grace he bestows upon his disciples during that time.

It’s a privilege to be born on earth during the time that this event occurs ( it started on the 13th of January ) and the auspicious time of 45 days should be taken as an opportunity to dive deeper into meditation practice as the veil in between the visible and invisible world is much thinner during this period as a result of joined efforts of all meditators participating and help of the divine realm.
